Well placed

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The host was very responsive and communicative, including being available late at night when we arrived to help us check in. The beds are comfortable, sofas and living room are comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. Rooms are spacious and cozy, decor is modern and welcoming. There's a water dispenser with fresh water on hand. Wifi was strong and reliable. The guards at the gate were very friendly and gave us some great local recommendations when we chatted with them. We thought the neighbourhood was very good, a couple of malls within easy walking distance which included grocery stores, shops, restaurants, etc. Ubers and taxis were easy to call for access to the rest of the city. After dark the neighbourhood got a little more interesting but we always felt safe and had no issues.

We had a little difficulty finding the place initially ("we were looking for "Kitwa Suites" but the housing complex signage on the street is "Azania Homes"), but we arrived late at night and the host remained available via text/phone to get us to the right place. The host also said they would update their instructions for clarity. Ultimately not a big issue, and the host was great. Other minor thing worth noting, we originally chose this location because of the sports complex nearby (the football pitch) but only found out after arrival you need to be a member to access the facilities and it wasn't easy to join or buy passes. Not a problem with the apartment or host, just something about the area and facility seen in the photos.
