Owner was very timely in communication and allowing an early check-in. The location in E Atlanta is super close to all the great food and entertainment in Decatur, and neighborhood seems quiet (minus house construction). Street parking was ample, and you're walking distance to a shopping district with a Kroger and Target.
The unit is basic but very clean and tidy, with a washer/dryer combo available.
There's quite a bit of construction across the street on a new house, so the noise is not insignificant on weekdays. Nothing the owner can do about that other than give the guests a heads up I suppose.
There were no toiletries provided in the bathroom, and they were just about out of toilet paper (I ran over to Target to restock and left the extras in the unit for next guests).

The location was perfect for us. Our son lives in Kirkwood and the property is right next door in the neighborhood of Edgewood. This duplex is small but perfect for 2 and designed to be efficient. Close to a shopping center that has Kroger and Target. We were able to walk to Target! My only criticism is that some of the walls need to be repainted but that was no big deal.
