It is Nome after all, and not a luxury resort. It had everything I needed for a two-night stay. Except for a few minutes right when I was checking in (someone nearby was breaking up wooden crates with a sledgehammer), it was pretty quiet. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.
I used to live in Alaska so knew what to expect, but some people might not like that the streets around the location are not paved. That's going to be an issue almost anywhere in Nome, though.

The apartment was warm, cosy, and furnished with everything that I needed for a short stay. Melissa was a great host, providing me with all the details necessary to access and enjoy the property. It is also situated within easy walking distance of all of Nome's attractions. I would have no hesitation in returning should I ever be lucky enough to return to Nome.
