Casa din Parc

Îi mulțumim gazdei pentru ospitalitate și disponibilitate. Zona este foarte bună, foarte aprope de Iulius Mall, Lacul Gheorgheni(aprox 10 min de mers pe jos). Noi am fost cazati pe weekend, a fost liniște în împrejurimi și pe străduță. E chiar plăcut să ai view spre parc. E un loc curat, linistit și raport calitate pret chiar isi merita banii. Nu am venit pentru relaxare și lux, am venit cu treabă și consider că a fost un loc numai bun de odihnă pentru 2 nopti. Am avut si apa rece carbogazoasă in frigider, foarte bine primită. Totusi aș recomanda plată pe viitor căci sunt persoane care nu consumă nimic carbogazos. Patul foarte confortabil, chiar am avut un somn odihnitor.

Fiind la parter si pe partea nordica, chiar daca e vara, noi am prins cateva zile racoroase in Cluj (aprox 20-23 grade) iar spre seara a fost destul de racoare in locatie. N ar fi neaparat o problema, mai erau pilote, paturi, dar e de luat in considerare pt o persoana mai friguroasa. De asemenea, ar fi bine primite niste cutite mai mari pentru a putea taia o paine, legume pentru a putea pregati un mic dejun mult mai usor, niste pliculete cu ceai(musetel, menta) și eventual un aparat cu capsule, in locul aparatului cu filtru. Eu sunt mare iubitoare de cafea cu lapte/ capuccino și mi a lipsit cafeaua de specialitate. Am contactat gazda inainte, am stiut de acest aspect, dar pe viitor ar fi de recomandat. In afara de zona de Iulius Mall nu am gasit un loc mai apropiat pt o cafea.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a three-story detached house overlooking the public park. The lady owner lives in the same building on the floor above, so all our requests were handled quickly. During cold nights (13 deg Celsius in July), she was kind enough to turn up the heating for us. As the apartment is on the North-East side of the building, it remained chilly inside even during hot days. Modernly furnished compact apartment with fully equipped kitchen. The owner changed towels every day and bed linen once every three days during our week-long stay.

Our request to change towels once every 3 days (together with bed linen) was ignored. We had the feeling the towels were changed daily more to check on the apartment than to provide clean towels. On the positive side, the trash was cleared every day. We had to specifically ask her to keep the windows shut upon daily cleaning, as one day we found them left open and the apartment cooled off too much for a comfortable night’s stay.

The host is extremely responsive, warm and welcoming! The apartment is sparkly clean, and it is clear that the host, dear Emilia, takes great pride in providing a lovely space for her guests. It's very quiet at night, and has a beautiful park view, especially in the morning. Such a peaceful place! Full kitchen; A parking spot was reserved for me right in front of the building. A couple of grocery stores within easy walking distance. I didn't want to leave!

It's a bit of a walk into the center of town, 35 mins or so, but you definitely do not want to try to drive there! The traffic in Cluj is terrible!! The only things I found missing would be a vegetable peeler, scissors, and a little bit more cutlery
