Sunken Escapes Glamping Unit #2

The location was great and easy to find, and the property was beautiful and quiet. The lake was lovely, with a nice breeze which was welcomed especially on days where the temps were above 38 degrees celsius without humidity. The cabin had everything we needed to prepare meals and relax. The beds were very comfortable and cozy, a great place to relax after an awesome day.

We are a family that loves nature and the outdoors. We went during a heat wave which made for very warm cabin conditions during the day, even with the mini-split. It might be helpful to have a tower fan for the back rooms. Secondly, while we are accustom to bugs as tenters, the ants were unreal! There were at least a hundred in the bathroom alone on the first night, and they were likely worse because of the heat. Lastly, the lake was lovely and as a main feature, perhaps having a rake handy for the beach area would be helpful. There were 50+ dead mature tadpoles and fish that you had to maneuver around.

All amenities we needed were there. Comfortable. Mostly quiet. Lovely gentleman runs it. Kayaking. Was altogether natural surroundings, no stand of trees between us and urban living or a highway. Was what one really wants when you go glamping.
