Madri Retreat - Heritage Boutique Hotel with Pool

I have never been so thrilled with a hotel!!- A perfect oasis to escape to when the thrilling madness of the streets of Udaipur become a bit much. Every day was a new adventure, but coming back to relax in the cool small perfectly maintained pool was the gem in the crown ( I know I sound ridiculous but this hotel really hit the spot!)

No complaints!( well, actually it was a wee bit tricky to find; you have to ask to go to chandpole parking if arriving by car; from there the tuk, tuk took us to madri haveli- where they redirected us to made retreat around the corner)

Everything. The hotel and room was clean, also de swimming pool. The staff is very nice and the breakfast was quite good. I also recommend to eat in their rooftoop, the food is very good and tasty.

The service and hospitality of the staff, especially the owner, was exceptional! The entire hotel was spotless. The pool was so nice, and actually maintained properly. Something you don't see very often when in India. Breakfast was always so delicious. The sister hotel around the corner has AMAZING dinner options as well. I was a solo female and I always felt safe, and that the staff made sure I was taken care from the minute I arrived to my departure. I was truly spoiled here! Don't hesitate to book this property!

There is no access to the hotel by car. There is a 400 meter walk to the hotel up the hill. Power disconnected several times for up to 1-2 hours during the day and night once I was in the shower at the night which was quite an annoying experience.
