I feel bad marking this so low as the apartment itself is stunning and the location is amazing. We chose this apartment based on the gorgeous terrace where we were hoping to enjoy peaceful leisurely breakfasts. Unfortunately they are building a brand new property right next door to the apartment. The area is full of construction with cranes, diggers etc on the go from 7am each morning. Appreciate that this can’t be helped but the level of construction work should be made clearer on booking.com. My kid was awake every morning at 7am due to the noise and there was no chance of an afternoon nap again due to ongoing noise. We couldn’t relax on the terrace as hoped as the noise was unbearable and builders were overlooking by the terrace. It’s unfortunate as the actual apartment and area is brilliant - we just paid a lot for a week of little sleep!
