Stay in Someshwar

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Kashi We had a wonderful stay at Stay in Someshwar, Kashi, and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi. The hotel's location is one of its biggest strengths. It is very centrally located, with Mani Mandir Ghat just a few seconds' walk away, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy boat rides on the Ganges and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the ghats. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. They provided valuable guidance on everything a tourist might need, from local attractions and transportation to places to visit, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were very well maintained, clean, and comfortable, and the overall service was excellent throughout our stay. Another highlight is the Someshwar Temple, located directly opposite the hotel. It is a unique and peaceful temple where replicas of all twelve Jyotirlingas have been established, making it a wonderful place to visit without having to travel far. The surrounding area also has plenty to offer. There are several good cafés, eateries, and shopping options within walking distance, making it easy to explore the local culture, enjoy delicious food, and shop for souvenirs. Overall, Stay in Someshwar offers an excellent combination of location, hospitality, cleanliness, and convenience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose it again on our next visit to Kashi.

Hotel owners were extremely helpful. They were like more than a guide and helped to plan the entire day and arranged transportation for long trips. Property is right on Man Mandir Ghat and main Ganga Aarti is just few steps away. Navigating through the narrow lanes of Varanasi could be tricky, Google Maps was wrong most of the times but if you call the hotel, they will guide you step by step.

Kashi temple area is going through a major change and city has cordoned off a km radius area around the temple and blocked 4 wheeler access. So remember to pack light, because you may have to walk few hundred meters to get to your hotel, if it is closer to ghat area. This Hotel owner helped me to carry my luggage to the Uber pickup point, am so grateful.

Close proximity to Temple and Ghat

Very clean and comfortable. Our room was quiet at night even though the location is right in the middle of the action. The Hotel owners were fantastic. This is the nicest place in Varanasi. I have stayed at. So very close to the ghats yet so peaceful once inside. Thank you for a fantastic stay
