Location in the old town was great. Access to a pastry shop opposite each morning was a treat! Compact but comfortable apartment, well looked after and clean!

A few minor things:
The main double bed inclined at the feet on one side.
The stairs in the apartment were a bit sketchy for younger children.
No oven; we didn’t cook so no problem.
Access to apartment through a passageway to courtyard, the passage smelled very ‘musty’…
Like a few other reviews, the apartment is smaller than appears on the photos (but is fine for a family of 4 for a few days!).
Not the owners fault, but parking costs nearby are very high. Better to find on street parking outside of the old town walls with short walking distance!

The area is lovely. The apartment is located on a main street, but it wasn’t noisy at all. There are many small shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, which made the location very convenient and enjoyable.
The flat itself is small but nicely designed and stylish. It looks pleasant and has a nice overall atmosphere.
The listing photos are misleading. The apartment appears much larger and better equipped in the photographs than it is in reality. The flat is very small and has limited facilities. There was no oven and no TV, despite a TV being shown in the listing photos.
The most serious and unacceptable issue was the heating. We stayed over New Year’s when temperatures were very low, and the apartment was freezing. When we informed the owner that the heating was barely working and the temperature inside the flat was only 16.8°C, she explained how to turn on the thermostat and admitted this should have been done before our arrival but was not. Even after several hours, the temperature increased by only one degree.
We asked for an electric heater immediately, as this situation was not normal at all and should be treated as an emergency. A freezing apartment in winter is a serious issue, not a minor inconvenience. The owner did not respond until the next morning and only brought the heater after lunch, close to the evening. This is not the level of care or responsiveness one would reasonably expect from a host, especially given the price we paid. We had to contact Booking.com customer support because the situation was not handled appropriately.
Additionally, the apartment needs deeper dust cleaning, and the cooking pans should be replaced, as they are heavily scratched and not healthy to use.
