Luxury Beachfront Apartment in Blouberg, 304 The Waves

Our stay was truly enjoyable, starting with one of the biggest highlights: the location. It was perfectly situated, close to restaurants and shops, which made getting around easy and convenient. Whether we wanted to grab a meal, pick up essentials, or simply explore the area, everything was within easy reach. What really made the experience special, though, was the view. Waking up and opening your eyes to the mountain each morning was something special. It gave the whole stay a peaceful, memorable feel and added a sense of calm that is hard to beat. The accommodation itself was comfortable and well-equipped with all the essentials you would expect for a relaxing stay. Everything felt practical and welcoming, making it easy to settle in right away. One detail that stood out was the kitchen setup, especially having a proper pan to cook eggs, which was a definite bonus and made mornings feel a little more like home. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a fantastic location, with beautiful views and thoughtful touches that made the experience even better.

There was very little about our stay that we did not enjoy. The few points worth mentioning were minor and did not take away from the overall experience. In the main bedroom bathroom, the basin is on the smaller side, and the shower feels a bit compact because of the way the door opens. That said, this seems more a result of the layout than anything else, and with a larger shower available in the second bathroom, it was not really an issue. The only other point to note is that the mattress in the main bedroom may need replacing in the near future.

Everything was perfect

On Booking.com I searched under washing machine but there is only available in the communal not in the unit. But otherwise, I had a great stay.

Communication was clear, effective and I never wondered how and where to collect the keys and get access. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you might need for self catering. Quality and upmarket furniture and finishes and very good value for money. Views to die for and in close proximity to the beach, restaurants and food outlets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer. DSTV was an added bonus and the internet speed is very good. Access control is good and we never felt unsafe, parking in a designated bay with easy access.

There is a lot of traffic over weekends as this is a very popular area for tourists and locals visiting the beach and restaurants. It creates for a festive atmosphere, but can get a bit noisy, but was never at such a level that I wanted to complain or leave.
