Welcome to our peaceful retreat located on Cherokee Lane in Duck Creek Village! This spacious home features 4 BR, plus a cozy loft, and a charming outdoor bunkhouse, perfect for kids.
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, we offer a perfect getaway for families and groups looking to relax in nature. The owners are passionate about animal rescue and have been involved in the rescue of retired racing greyhounds for over 25 years, which adds a personal and heartwarming touch to this special place.

MAIN LIVING SPACE
Welcome to this spacious mountain cabin, perfect for families or groups! Inside, you’ll find a cozy and welcoming entryway leading into a large living area with ample seating. Relax by the fireplace, play some board games, or unwind with a movie after a day of adventure. The open-concept design flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area, making it ideal for entertaining.
KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up your favorite meals, featuring beautiful countertops and modern appliances. The dining area comfortably seats 6, with additional seating for 4 at the kitchen counter, offering plenty of space for shared meals and gathering.
OUTDOOR LIVING
Situated on a picturesque 3200 sqft lot, this cabin offers stunning mountain views from every angle. Enjoy evenings by the fire pit under the stars, or relax on the covered deck, complete with ample seating and a propane grill for outdoor dining. For the best views, head to the master suite balcony, where you can soak in the serene landscape. The charming outdoor bunkhouse, designed especially for kids, includes 2 bunk beds (sleeps 2 children) and is a great space for play and fun.

Loft Area: 3 twin beds, perfect for additional guests
BATHROOMS
Master Bathroom (Upstairs): Full bathroom with a waterfall/steam shower
Bathroom 2 (Basement): Full bathroom with tub/shower combination
Bathroom 3 (Main Level): Half bath for convenience
- No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the premises. Violation of this house rule will result in a $500 fine, in addition to any extra cleaning fees required to remove smoke odors or residue
- No parties or large gatherings
- Maximum of 2 pets allowed
- No unregistered guests
- Please do not move or rearrange any furniture
- Do not flush feminine products, wet wipes, diapers, or anything other than toilet paper. The home is on a septic system and flushing these items may cause damage.
- Do not park on road. Only park on driveway
-DO NOT CARVE ON TREES!!!!
Fire Pit Guidelines
Pit Construction:
-The pit must be at least 18 inches deep and made of non-burnable material.
-Add 6 inches of gravel at the bottom for safety, making the total depth 24 inches.
-Clear out ashes regularly to keep the pit depth at 18 inches.
Safety:
-Keep the pit 15 feet away from anything that can burn.
-Clear 6 feet around the pit of anything that can catch fire.
-Always have someone 18 years or older watching the fire.
-Have at least 10 gallons of water or a hose nearby.
Firewood:
-Guests are responsible of bringing their own lighters, lighter fluid, fire starters, or firewood.
-Use short pieces of wood that fit inside the pit.
-Keep the flames under 2 feet high.

This cabin was great for us. The layout. The designated dog area. And most of all, the covered porch. Where we spent most of our time. We were not left with wanting for anything. Greyt indeed. We’ll be back.

I loved that it was nice and clean. The out door furniture was really nice and cozy. They had everything you would need. The host is amazing at communicating. My family and I are extremely thankful.

Our family greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Greyt Retreat in Duck Creek Village! This charming cabin was larger than our family of five needed, but we are so glad we chose to stay here, especially since the covered patio allowed us to be outside most of the day with our three littles rain or shine.The cabin was clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay, and the property is clearly cared for and well-maintained. It truly feels like a home-away-from-home.The next time our travels take us to Duck Creek, the Greyt Retreat will be our first choice for housing.
