Over all, everything was okay apart from the big mistake of giving me a studio apartment instead of the 1 bedroom apartment which I booked and paid for.
I advise everyone not to trust what is advertised and make phone calls before you hit the booking bottom.

I usually stay at the address Dubai mall, downtown or opera residences - on this visit to Dubai I wanted to stay somewhere more affordable as the usual places were crazy expensive over new years and I couldn’t justify the 2-3x usual cost. I chose this place because it looks new, comfortable and close to downtown. It is exactly those things - the building is new, clean and the apartment is basic but well appointed and close to downtown (approx 12m) Gym is also decent - techno gym equipment. Only major critique would be that the pool area has no sun loungers and is in the shade most of the day, but if you’re planning to go out to beach clubs etc this is a great choice.
