The Space:
If you are looking for a quiet getaway in an uncrowded super friendly safe neighborhood near some of Florida's most beautiful beaches, you just found a true needle in a haystack.
On a large tropical lot, this two-story, air-conditioned, stylish, bright immaculate home boasts brand new furniture and furnishings, and a gorgeous screened pool. Brand new kitchen with granite and European cabinets. Just a short stroll to the Gulf of Mexico and the community fishing pier, from which to watch the wonderful sunsets.
The house features a lush tropical garden and the fabulous screened free-form pool with a waterfall that sounds like a babbling brook in the woods.
Hardwood floors with terracotta tiles, together with an abundance of windows and a high vaulted ceiling create a bright, sun-drenched great room on the second floor. It is furnished in a modern, uncluttered European style. The great room has TV & hi-fi, and leads out onto the upper floor deck amongst the treetops, which has grill/BBQ, chairs and a table. Wireless internet service is also included.
On the first floor there is a large comfortable family room with Digital Cable TV, DVD/VHS and plenty of space, leading out through french doors to the patio and pool.
The kitchen is brand new, with granite countertops and European cabinets. All stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher, and large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. You will find everything you need should you want to cook - full range of pans, utensils; also provided are microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric plug-in kettle.
There are three bedrooms, two are upstairs, one of which has a king bed, the other has two twins. The third bedroom is on the lower floor and has two twin beds. There are two full bathrooms; one has a full-size tub with overhead shower, the other has a large shower cubicle. (There is also an outside shower for use when returning from the beach).
Crystal Beach is a wonderful safe community with friendly neighbors and a timeless charm. Its beaches and community fishing pier and park are just a 5-minute stroll away. At sunset it is traditional for the residents of Crystal Beach to drift towards the fishing pier and watch the sun go down together with a glass of wine.
Innisbrook PGA Championship golf course is just 5 minutes from the door.
The beautiful beaches of Honeymoon and Caladesi islands are a 10-minute drive away. Just one minute from the Pinellas Trail, you can enjoy biking, rollerblading, jogging or simply strolling every day. Or, if you prefer, relax in your own backyard by the screened pool or on the upper level wooden deck. Dunedin and Tarpon Springs are adorable charming towns with many restaurants for true foodies.

First impression walking in to the rental was not great. There were dead roaches on the lower level. After I picked them up I felt better as we did not see anymore and nothing live, so I am to assume that the house was treated, just that no one checked it before we arrived to ensure those type of things were not laying around.
The pool although looks great in the pictures...definitely was overfull with water as well as did not look like it had been cleaned, the water was clear, but the walls looked unscrubbed. We did not end up using it during our stay.
The upper deck would be nice, but it could use some TLC, meaning, putting the chairs nicely around the table, having the grill cover on and the debris from trees blown off would have given it a better appeal.
The inside was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. I called the rental company on Saturday and left a message. Had some difficulty signing in to the wifi, but was able to after a couple tries. (I never received a call back from the rental company).
Overall, I liked the area for parking and the neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe there.
I would have liked to have a gas grill available, my bad for not checking that before booking. The only grill is a weber grill, so if you don't like cooking on charcoal it is not a great place to stay.
Loved the wood floors! And the windows are beautiful views of the area. The wall decor, and window dressings are very nice.
