Corfu Old Town Charm

I had an excellent stay at this apartment! My husband and I were completely satisfied, not only because the apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, but also because of the wonderful hospitality of the team, who stayed in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. The location is excellent, and the apartment itself is modern, well organized, and exceptionally clean. Everything matched the description, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. We would definitely love to come back next summer.

The only thing missing was an elevator, as the apartment is located on the third floor. However, this was not an issue for us since the listing clearly states that the building is older and that guests need to use the stairs. We were aware of this before booking, so it did not affect our experience at all.

The owner was very helpful and he sent us all the information about the apartment before our arrival, the flat was easy to find and access. The apartment is in a busy area - close to the center, but during the night it was still quite we had no problems during our stay. Just around the corner there was a small grocery shop, and coffee places, pastry shops, everything we needed. The apartment is very spacious, and well equipped. The two bright bedrooms had a balcony access, and lots of storage for our clothes and stuff.

The only thing that we didn´t like was the two beds. The beds were comfortable, but they creaked loudly at the slightest movement, which was a problem during the night.

Vacedo provide a well managed accommodation and the transfer from the airport was prompt and efficient. The apartment was very clean, the beds are large and comfortable, the double glazed windows have integral shutters and fly screens, the laundry room was large with a good washing machine, iron, ironing board and hanging space to dry clothes. The kitchen units are old, but equipped with everything you require. The shower room is small, a bit old, but functional. The TVs in the bedrooms have Netflix, Prime Video and BBC World. There are 3 new quiet Aircon units. The information provided online by Vacedo was precise and easy to use. I advise people to read the listing small print, since the Apartment is on the 3rd floor with 60 steps up from street level. The location is good, adjoining the pedestrianised Old Town.

The approach through Agiou Dimitriou is not very pleasant, for a residential area. There are piles of rubbish/garbage that does not appear to be cleared away by the Municipality.

The apartment is really spacious and has all the features you might need, including a laundry room with a washing machine and an ironing board. It’s located in a central spot just 2 minutes off the old town attractions.

The apartment was clean, spacious and well furnished. Another bonus was great service from Vacedo team who helped us make the most of our stay with practical tips and additional services (like earlier access and luggage drop on the last day) that made our life easier. Thanks!
