Pet-Friendly 2-Bed Beach House with Garden & BBQ

Great location. Good facilities

Very few functioning fly screens meant it was difficult to open windows as mosquitos came in. No range hood above stove meant that house filled with smoke when cooking on stove which set off smoke alarms (see previous comment about opening windows). The one fan in the house was broken. There was no cooling in the main bedroom and no fly screen on one of the windows so ventilation was terrible and resulted in several nights of very poor sleep. All the above were NOT reflected in the premium price that was charged for the property. So while we loved the location we felt ripped off by the experience

We loved how close it was to the dog beach. Just a quick stroll down a track at the end of the court. Sitting on the back deck we could hear the waves crashing. So tranquil.

Not the property for you if your furkid will challenge the fence.

Fantastic location. Just an easy 2 minute walk to the beach via a bush path and 5 minute drive to Batehaven for groceries etc. Clean, cosy and well presented. Great BBQ which we used a couple times. Fast wifi and great selection of board games which kept the kids happy when it rained.

No laundry, wasn't an issue as we had plenty of clothes, but good to know just in case. TV was quite dated and we couldn't add certain streaming apps.

Very close to the beach, 15min drive from the Mogo MTB trails (which were fantastic BTW). Very quiet neighbourhood and house was very clean and tidy. Could store the bikes and surfboards in the lock up garage which was helpful.

Couldn't connect to the TV for screenshare (yes, first world problem...).
