Shire Heaven Villa

The hosts were very accommodating, and even gave us lifts around town, delivered us fruit and gave us a tour of there beautiful garden. A nice area with a short walk to town There is a friendly dog called Binco who is well trained. Comfy beds and good AC. Excellent bathroom facilities. Bonus point was seeing a Monkey in the neighbouring trees.

WiFi was a little on and off, but there’s a good cafe nearby to go and use the wifi.

Really amazing location, nice and quiet and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The local wildlife was wonderful too, we saw lizards and an endangered monkey on the neighbours roof. The owners were very very lovely people, Changna spoke very good english helped us with a tonne of local knowlege things to do in the area and did everything to make us feel welcomed and at home. His wife gave us a tour of there lush garden where we were shown and tried the Cinnamon, black pepper and coconuts among other things which growing there. The accomodation was a gorgeous building built in 1913 by Changna's great granddad, and is built to keep relatively cool in the midday sun. The bed was very comfortable and the air con worked wonders. All the locals we came across were so friendly, and considering the shear amount of resorts on the local beach full of toursits, the main town is realtively untouched and feels super authentic with a couple of really good places for food (Royal hungry).

If theres anthing that was slightly negative, I would have to say the cleanliness in the kitchen could have been better and the wifi was very slow at times. However there is a wicked little caf called Randys along Bentota highstreet which we used for its good wifi coffee and omelettes :)

Spacious rooms, clean environment, owner a seasoned professional, huge acre property. Enjoyed the short stay. Thanks

Room to have a waste basket.

Хорошие хозяева. Встретили нас в аэропорту Коломбо и довезли до отеля в комфорте. Хозяин хорошо знает Английский язык. В номерах было чисто. Тк не было газовой плиты, мы давали продукты и они нам готовили, готовят очень вкусно :) Так вышло что у младшего заболело ухо. Так оказалось что сыновья владельцев врачи. Осмотрели, дали лекарств, через два дня как новый. За это не взяли ни копейки за что мы им очень благодарны. Переживали они за нас как за своих родственников. Данную виллу рекомендую к проживанию
