Unit 19 - Avoca Palms Resort

Location was fantastic, great pool and bbq area

the apartment was not cleaned properly. We had to re- wash all cutlery and crockery and the kitchen cupboards haven’t been cleaned for a long time. The balcony floor was very dirty as was the outdoor furniture. Bits of the bathroom and laundry were rusted and not cleaned for a long time. The place is very tired and didn’t reflect the photos on booking.com Given the state of the apartment, I would be hard to recommend this apartment to others. Also note that there are many sets of stairs , makes access difficult to and from the apartment. Not value for money!

The location is great - close to shops, cafes and restaurants. The unit was very quiet - virtually no traffic noise. The bedrooms are all of a good size, and the main bedroom and ensuite are substantial. The whole unit is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc.

The unit is now showing its age, and some parts could do with some renovation. Also I may have missed it, but it wasn't clear there would be no coffee/tea provided (although milk was provided in the fridge). This is fine, but would be a nice addition.
