4 Northgate, Beccles

Excellent location in the middle of Beccles - 2 minute walk from the centre. Cosy cottage with modern decor - the log burner would be lovely in the winter. Kitchen had great facilities and everything you need. Very clean and tidy property. Although there is no parking, there is free 24h (albeit unsecured) parking that is a 5-minute walk away. Loads of cafes, amenities, shops and walks very close. Starter park of biscuits, orange juice, tea and other snacks was nice.

Being given the option of a fan for £25 by the management company is a bit cheeky - profiteering off a heatwave does not feel appropriate and should be a basic provision. The front door is directly on a road which is noisy with cars, trucks and buses during the day and evening. Given that the property is in a conservation area, there is not much that can be done to soundproof the windows. Television is tiny and channels were not tuned. Netflix did work though.

Central location in the small town of Beccles. Excellent standard in the whole house, perfect for a couple for a weekend or short break stay. The house has been recently renovated so everything is clean and new. Right in the centre of town - so it does mean there is car noise but to be expected. Welcome pack was a nice surprise :-)

The tv is tiny - but that wasn't a main issue, just hard to watch the football :-)
