Ferienwohnung Panoramablick Bermersbach

My wife and I have just spent a beautiful few days’ holiday in this wonderful holiday apartment in Bermersbach. Even in the recent July heatwave we felt cool and comfortable inside because the front of the apartment was shaded for most of the day, which also allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the cooling breezes and the fabulous view down a steep wooded hillside to the Murg valley. It was a pleasure to live in the apartment: the bedroom and living room are both large and well proportioned, with plenty of storage space and free surfaces. Everything in the apartment was working well and there were many careful details to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The bed and the sofa were large and comfortable. The smart TV was easy to use and even had a BBC news channel which was a pleasant surprise for us Brits travelling abroad. The wi-fi signal was strong and reliable. All the kitchen equipment worked well. The location is very quiet and peaceful with no traffic noise. We found plenty of information in the apartment about local Black Forest walks, some of which we could start from the village, which was great because we had no car with us. Here is one tip for future guests: the only grocery shop in the village is closed on Sundays and Mondays and most afternoons, so some advance planning is needed for buying basic food supplies, and Jessica very kindly helped us with this planning. She had also left some sparkling water, fruit and snacks in the apartment for us when we arrived, which we greatly appreciated. She and Christopher were very kind and helpful and communicated well with us throughout our stay. All in all we had a lovely time and were sad when we had to leave.

Everything was great.

The place is well childproofed, great if you’re traveling with kids. There’s a queen bed and a sofa bed, both comfortable, plus a crib in the master bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom and toilet were clean. There’s a separate wash basin in the master bedroom, and parking is provided on the premises.

Hot water in the bathroom sink would have been nice; it was only available at the washer in the master bedroom.

Die Unterkunft war sehr baby- und Hundefreundlich, was unseren Aufenthalt als Familie besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war wunderschön, die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und stets erreichbar. Auch die bereitgestellten Snacks und Getränke waren eine sehr nette und aufmerksame Geste. Auch alles für unseren Hund war vorhanden.

Bei der Sauberkeit gibt es noch etwas Potenzial, insbesondere in den Ecken sowie unter dem Bett und Sofa. Außerdem war die Matratze etwas durchgelegen, sodass das Bett für uns nicht ganz so komfortabel war.
