Norms Near US Embassy

We liked that the place was in a quiet community, very close to where we needed to go. Transportation to Bridgetown was a breeze once we got to the main road.

The place was quite a distance from the main road. Which made it somewhat difficult to get to with bags, but on the otherhand, getting a taxi to get us to our destination was not difficult, and pretty reasonable. The pillows though were a bit too flat. All in all: I will do it again.

The convenience of an automatic lock. The room and its decor were nice. The AC worked well.

The location was a bit difficult for certain taxis to find. The sheet was a bit too thin.

The property was close to bus stops and fast foods area. However, you have to walk out about 7 minutes from the apartment to the main road. It took us a few minutes walking to get to the supermarket, gas station, kfc. The walk to the embassy is more or less 20-25 minutes walking depending on the pace you’re walking at.

Firstly I’d like to say I am a little disappointed as when I booked, it said an apartment with a sea view. However, there was not any sea view at all unless maybe if I go to the back of the yard where the other apartments are (I attached photos of the view I had we stayed downstairs). There weren’t any wash cloths and even though it was 2 persons staying in the apartment we were only provided with 1 towel. There wasn’t any soaps so we had to visit the gas station to get a bar of soap. There weren’t anything water in the fridge. Let me just say, it isn’t my first time in Barbados I have booked apartments before and had gotten every essential that would be needed and extra but I guess not all places have the same standard. There isn’t any space really in the bathroom but it was a short stay so atleast we had a place to rest our heads. Lastly I did not like that I had to double or triple text to get a response from the host and whereas I am aware that other jobs could be pressing I also believe that if you’re renting your apartment to guests you should be attentive.
