I’m in love with this place! The owners are very welcoming and the entire building is new and very quiet. I would recommend everybody to come here! I will definitely come back :)

We had a nice stay at Surfside if somewhat a bit remote ,food was very good and plentiful as all the places in Sri Lanka we stayed at,the difference being they were considerably more expensive I would recommend a comprehensive menu with prices for guests to avoid any surprises when presented with final bill and also check room prices quoted from Booking.com correspond with owners final bill

Sunil and his son Thasidu do everything for you to make you feel home:
- drive you
- bring local food
- arrange transport
- laundry
They showcase the kindness of Sri Lanka people and culture. Would recommend anytime.
It‘s a little bit away from the beach / center.
Nothing a transport by car / Tuktuk or a scooter rental can’t solve.

We spent three wonderful months here. It is a quiet, safe place, and the surrounding area allowed us to discover many new animals, which was amazing!!! Every day we encountered porcupines, musangs, monkeys, and many different birds! The owners treated us to delicious food, organised celebrations, and set off fireworks on the roof!!! We have lived in many places in Sri Lanka, but we liked this villa the most! We will definitely come back to live here again when we visit Sri Lanka! Thank you, wonderful Sunil and his family, we love you very much! 🤍
