Nice little apartment but be mindful that it’s up a hill.

Great little apartment close to the Plan Maison Gondola, you can also walk up to the one of the runs that goes down into Cervinia. The only downside is that the apartment is up a hill so if you don’t have a car, there will be lots of walking up and down the hill, which is fine but a bit tricky if you have shopping to carry home or luggage. You can get a cab if you have a lot to carry. The ski locker wasn’t big enough for all of our stuff, without piling boots on top of one another (it’s a very basic cage which is used by the owners to store their things) so we brought our boots back to the apartment, which meant that they also weren’t cold or wet when we put them on the following day. We arrived quite early by transfer and were told that we couldn’t access the apartment or drop our luggage so we had to find a ski rental shop that would store our luggage for us whilst we skied in the afternoon, we then carried our luggage up the hill, which was rather challenging! We picked up the keys earlier in the day so we could’ve got our driver to drop us at the apartment and used the ski locker/cage to store our bags until the accommodation was ready, this would’ve saved us money (we paid €20 for our bags to be stored) and having to change in the workshop area in the ski shop and having to move our luggage to the apartment up the hill later on in the day. These are just logistical considerations, we liked the apartment which was very comfortable and provided us with everything that we needed. It says on this listing that there isn’t parking but you can pack out the front of the building if you have a car.
