Amber Lily Studio

During this trip in the region, I travelled through multiple islands but this was very likely the best stay I had! The host, Makeda is really kind and caring, even before I arrived she tried to help (my flight was late with no information given at the airport), and later on also really acted as a real host, not just an owner of a property. Besides her kindness, the place is also really nice, huge and comfortable bed, equipped kitchen (though I didn't use it), big bathroom and soft towels. Internet was fast, too. Regarding the safety of the neighborhood, she was more concerned about goats getting inside than any other people. Nice walking distance to downtown. Oh, and since I had a late flight, she let me stay and check out later, which helped a lot. Would definitely come back!

Pretty close to Brasseterre city center, definitely walkable location., including a grocery store. Still quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. The property owner is on site and very kind. Sleeping was great in the comfortable bed and breeze flowing through the windows. There is AC but we didn't use it. The studio is spacious and very Caribbean with tile floors and vaulted painted wood ceilings. Good value overall. The property owner scheduled a transport from the airport (separate costs to pay the driver at time of service. Shoutout to Israel with EZ Rides!)

Location is ten minutes vehcie ride from Airport. Room equipped with basic kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed

Isolated location from any commercial activity, including restaurants, grocery stores. A minimum 20 minute walk to a restaurant.. can be an issue with the heat and Sun. Host does not accept credit cards.

The host Makeda was very helpful and responsive to our messaging services. She arranged for pickup & drop off to the airport which is only about 10 minutes’ drive from her property. It had a fan, a fridge, sink and a good shower/batroom. Cheap and cheerful one night stay at ‘Amber Lily Studio'

Property could do with updating the decor, bedsheets etc. The property could look at leveling the outside entrance area and especially the step into the room, I nearly twisted my ankle while taking the suitcase in and out of the room.
