Narniandum Est Locazione Turistica

My wife and daughter and I used Narniandum Est as a base in July for our two day stay in Narni and driving visit to Cascia. The host, Sandro, was wonderfully communicative and helpful before and during our visit--he really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. Three examples: 1. there was wine on the counter when we arrived to celebrate my recently passed birthday. 2. My USA phone was not working with Italian phone numbers when we arrived. Sandro kindly called a local restaurant and made dinner reservations for us. 3. Upon our arrival at the apartment, we discovered that the clothing iron was not working. Within minutes of that discovery, Sandro went to a local store and purchased a new iron for us. We appreciated how spacious and clean the rooms were, and how new everything seemed. There are ceilings fans in the bedrooms and an additional floor fan; combined with the thick stone walls and heavy roll-up shutters, we were able to keep the Italian heat out. There was moderate noise at night from Vespa scooters on the Strada Provinciale 1 that runs in front of the property, but the house is separated from the Strada by a small garden and by closing the house's roll-up shutters, we were able to keep the sound out (and, only one bedroom fronts on the Strada. The other bedroom is on the back-side of the house, away from the Strada). There is a washing machine on the ground floor (we didn't need to wash clothes, so we did not use it). Bonus, these Kansas travelers thought that the hamburgers at the sKendy cafe/bar right across the street were very tasty! Parking--Sandro allowed us to park our rented Peugeot 208 inside the garden wall one night; the remainder of our stay, I parked in the safe and comfortable area near the bus stand (right around the corner from the house, picture attached). Before our visit, I had a little trouble identifying which property I had booked, so I have attached a Google StreetView image of the house.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, gut gelegen und hat sehr viel Raum, sodass man sich vorstellen kann mit einer größeren Gruppe hier zu Schlafen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Dafür können die Vermieter reichlich wenig aber das Haus liegt direkt an einer Hauptstraße und es Fahren in Dauerschleife Autos, LKW‘s und Motorräder durch.

Location molto accogliente, pulizia eccellente, posizione ottimale per raggiungere facilmente le attrattive della zona. Accoglienza e simpatia dei proprietari. Ci ritorneremo

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Der Gastgeber hat uns privat in die historische Altstadt auf dem Berg gefahren, damit wir Narni kennenlernen konnten. Das war äußerst nett!!!

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.
