Great location with all the required amenities for us to enjoy a restful week.

Der Küchenbereich ist absolut top. Der Garten in der ersten Reihe zur Lagune ist wunderbar. Auch der Grillbereich hinter dem Haus ist super. Wohnraum großzügig und gemütlich.

Die Schlafzimmer etwas klein, die Badezimmer veraltet.

5 nights here was heaven. The lagoon front location, garden and huge lawn were our favourite things. We spent hours in the water, met lovely families, walked to the Saturday market and stargazed in the evenings. This spacious, neat house was very well equipped with everything needed to make our stay feel comfortable and safe. I would recommend this accomodation for the scenic views, birdlife, frog and tortoise visits, books, games, braai area, safety gates and secure parking, canoe, new appliances and beautiful kitchen, enough towels and good quality linen. We liked that our friendly host was professional,responsive from the time we booked, communicated very clearly & welcoming on arrival. The Island home hosted by Babette is a gem that has it all.

Nothing really major but for the sake of improvement, would suggest 2 mattresses in the main bedroom could do with replacement. The house smelt a bit musty but nothing a good airing out, vinegar wipe/wax of antique furnishings can't resolve. Otherwise everything else was flawless.
