Perfect, perfect. We know the house is old but it really didn't feel that way. We know someone actually lives there but it really didn't feel that way. Many of our bookings have the bare minimum in the kitchen for 4; we were thrilled to find many, many dishes and flatware. Host was also generous with towels, which we didn't need but it is just different from other stays where we only get a thin towel per person.

We understand the house is old and a little unbalanced here and there. That said, we had to take extra care on the upper floor with the small drops between rooms and the stairs. A night light or two would be very helpful.

Lovely large cottage , opposite a lovely pub and a short walk from Tideswell. The cottage had a small seating area outside and was bathed in sunshine during the day and great for star gazing at night. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and the owner left plenty of supplies of linen, towels and toilet roll. We were very pleased that the owner messaged us to say the cottage was ready for us several hours before our scheduled check in time , which gave us more time to enjoy our holiday.

The shower tray was extremely slippery and could have done with a rubber mat .
