Nicely decorated and loved the owner’s quirky sense of humour in the welcome folder. Close to the river and to the venue where we were attending a wedding which made for a pleasant walk. Despite its proximity to the railway line there really wasn’t much noise.
The only negative, and it’s a really minor thing, was there was no milk provided to make a cup of coffee.

Absolutely perfect for our needs. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The rate was very reasonable. Best of all, the host was fantastic about giving advice and answering all my dumb tourist questions about transit, etc. He definitely went above and beyond to help make our short Brisbane visit very enjoyable. Smallish place, but we didn't need or want anything bigger. We stayed just one night, but would have been very happy there for several days.
There was nothing negative about this stay.

Bathroom quite dirty, in particular the very dirty shower and shower curtain Awful tv reception. Owners dog roaming free
