The location, decor and cleanliness!
Being a few flights up a bit tricky with a large suitcase, but otherwise a great boutique hotel.

Very clean, comfortable accommodation in a quiet residential neighbourhood within easy walking distance of Angel tube station. Was amazed how quiet it was at night - very little traffic and no street noise so a good night's sleep was ensured. Very nice pub too. Found a really nice cafe for breakfast (Cooks & Books) just 5 minutes walk away.
The pub/accommodation sign was right outside our window and was illuminated at night so not completely dark in room. But this was a minor issue as we slept well despite the heat (tower fan provided which did help).

The place was not full capacity and we were given the smallest room with the bed against the wall. It was so small we couldn't open our suitcase. Sleeping against a wall is unacceptable. Charming place and wonderful pub very difficult to get any help especially when pub is closed.
