If you are hesitating to book- book! If we would have known how much we would have liked it we would have booked a longer stay- it is even more beautiful than in the pictures. A feeling of vacation and relaxation set in from the first minute of entering the property. Isabelle and Jan are very kind and welcoming hosts. The area is gorgeous- lots of little towns to visit, the Ventoux, and cozy restaurants nearby (one very close in 2 mins walking distance). But the property is so lovely you will want to spend a lot of the time by the pool, in the garden and on the patio, eating snacks Isabelle prepares in the afternoon and just enjoying the calm and nature. It is very quiet here- only birds chirping and the cigales. The breakfast Jan prepared was always a delight, looking onto the pool and the meadows in the background. There is a lavender meadow right nearby. If you are looking for the ideal Provence experience - this is the spot. We are so happy we stumbled upon it. We came across this place by chance and it turned out to be one of the best travel decisions we've ever made. Beaumont-du-Ventoux is a gem in itself, and this B&B perfectly captures the soul of the region. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. They arranged bikes for us so we climbed Mount Ventoux, an unforgettable experience of pain and joy. Breakfasts were a real highlight with fresh local strawberries, chocolate croissants, and a crispy baguette and local home made jellys that tasted like Provence on a plate. What truly set the stay apart were the insider tips from the hosts on wine tasting. No tourist traps, just hidden local wineries that we would never have found on our own. If you want an authentic Provence experience rather than a packed tourist crowds, this is the place. We'll be back.
