Chill Out Resort

Room was super spacious and had a lovely balcony. Owner was absolutely AMAZING! So helpful for renting a moped and took plenty of care in checking how our stay was and that our transfer was picking us up from the resort (even though we didn’t book with him).

We did have some ant eggs appear half way through our stay - but was sorted once we mentioned it so just keep an eye out!

The name says it all! Beautiful place to chill on Koh Lanta 🏝️ ❤️ we enjoyed our stay so much, had to extend it! Simo is very nice and friendly host, can give you the best tips for anything you might need. Everyone working on the property is also very kind and friendly! I will miss my yoga buddies 🐱 place is heaven if you are a cat person. Walking distance to a very nice beach and some nice local food stops and a short ride from other amazing places. We are definitely coming back if we get the chance 🫶

First and foremost, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Ibrahim and Simo are very easy going and helpful. The location is great, close to the beach and convenience stores. I think the staff are very chill and therefore give the property a chill feel. We ordered breakfast just one morning and it was very delicious and reasonably priced.

The property however, left us a bit disappointed. We had a loft (treehouse) and it was very clearly termite infested. Every day there were new piles of sawdust from the termites at work. The water in the shower had very poor pressure and smelled. In addition, my white shirts were permanently stained due to the quality of the water. The property had trash piles through out and one day we watched as the monkeys came down and went through the trash searching for food. For us personally, it was a bit too 'chill' and not enough attention to details such as water quality and property maintenance. It's also worth noting in the tree house rooms, the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors talking. And you do share a balcony so there is no privacy when on the deck.
