About this apartment rental
This special place is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit to downtown Vandalia. Abe’s Apartment offers a bedroom, full kitchen and bath, dining room, living room with a pull out sofa, and remote work space. This 2nd floor loft also offers beautiful views of the oldest State Capitol in IL and is within walking distance to over 7 restaurants, bars, and various local shops. We are located just two miles off of I-70, a little over a hour away from St. Louis, MO and 30 minutes from Effingham, IL. This loft is located on the second floor so you will need to climb 1 flight of stairs to enter and exit this space.

This was an excellent stay. Host is 5 star. Communication was great, as was the apartment. Very clean and all the essentials. Two things to note if you stay here: the stairs are on the steep side, and the air conditioner is in the bedroom. Our stay was in very hot weather and it cycled on and off often. If you are a light sleeper you should plan accordingly with some earplugs.
