Isola Brera Duomo - Antica Atmosfera - lovable cozy apartment

Milan Apartment Review I absolutely loved my stay here. The apartment was cosy, comfortable, very clean and exceptionally well equipped, with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel much more like a home than simply somewhere to stay. There was lots of useful information provided, including QR codes and details on the walls highlighting some of the most important places to see in Milan, as well as useful local leaflets and some lovely artwork. I particularly appreciated being able to cast my phone to the TV, which meant I could watch my own choice of films, programmes and music. I could even have my local radio from home playing in the mornings, which was a lovely way to keep up with the news while I was away. The shower room was really lovely, and the cosy lighting throughout the apartment created such a warm, homely atmosphere. The mezzanine bedroom was especially sweet and cosy, and the comfortable sofa downstairs was the perfect place to curl up with a coffee and a cake I'd picked up at the market. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, which I really appreciated as I enjoy making something simple for myself when I'm travelling. I bought some lovely fresh pasta from the local market and made myself dinner, along with a tomato and mozzarella salad. It was so nice to be able to come back, make something fresh and relax in the apartment before heading out again. The location was excellent too. It's on a quiet little street with restaurants, cafés and bars nearby, although it is worth remembering that August is holiday season in Italy, so quite a few local businesses were closed during my stay. There was also a national holiday on the Saturday. However, there was a fantastic market literally just up the street that day, which was a real bonus. The metro is only a couple of minutes away around the corner, making getting around Milan very easy.

The location was great for my interests around the area. Cozy and precise space. The host was great and flexible, which is always a great plus!

- La qualification "fabulous" accolée à la description de cet appartement sur Booking.com -2ème porte (noire) après le hall d'entrée- est abusive. - La communication par WhatShap exclusivement pour l'enregistrement et le paiement de la taxe de séjour avant l'obtention des instructions d'accès au studio est pénalisante. - L'absence de fenêtres dignes de ce nom (voir photos) est regrettable. - L'installation bricolée de la mezzanine et la faible hauteur sous plafond nuisent au confort d'accès à un lit un peu court...
