Being just 0.1 miles from Green Valley Community Park is a great bonus, offering access to the South Fork of the New River for outdoor activities like canoeing, tubing, and fishing. The park also has a playground, picnic shelter, and hiking trails, adding to the appeal for families and nature lovers. With Boone just a 20-minute drive away, visitors can enjoy local attractions such as the Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, High Gravity Adventures Zip Line and Aerial Park, and Appalachian Ski Mountain, all within 30-35 minutes. It's a peaceful, yet convenient location for anyone looking to explore the beauty and adventure of the region.

A wood-burning fire pit in the yard provides the perfect spot to gather, while the soothing sounds of the nearby creek enhance the peaceful ambiance.
The master bedroom on the main level has a king bed and private bathroom with a jetted soaking tub and separate step-in shower. Upstairs, two cozy queen bedrooms provide additional sleeping accommodations, both sharing a full bathroom. This upstairs bathroom includes a steam shower, offering a relaxing spa-like experience for guests staying on this level. The upstairs landing features a cozy sitting area creating a quiet nook to relax with a book.

Creekside Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay! The atmosphere is perfect for a mountain cabin get away. The deck is perfect for rocking, sitting at the gas table fire pit having coffee or wine and listening to the creek below. The interior is cozy and comfortable with a gas fireplace, mountainy decor and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked many meals while visiting. We enjoyed the outdoor wood burning fire pit for marshmallows and hot dogs. Bring your own wood, none provided although we were able to find a lot of fallen branches and kindling on the property. The downstairs basement sleeping arrangements are not ideal, I would not recommend more than 6 adults to fill the 3 bedrooms (very nice) and maybe a kid or kids in the living room pullout and possibly a teen in the basement. The cabin is private but easy to get to. We had an easy drive to visit the towns of Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Both were lively with plenty of shops and restaurants to visit. We fished at Grandfather Mountain Trout Ponds (guaranteed catch!) and grilled the fish that evening on the gas grill at the cabin. Old Barn Winery was our favorite place to visit. The atmosphere is amazing and is appropriate for adults and kids! We brought food and spent a day there. Only 15 minutes from the cabin. I would recommend this cabin and hope to stay again soon!

We loved this cabin, all the rocking chairs on the porches, being able to hear the creek, being secluded! The cabin was clean and had everything you would need and then some ! We would love to rent it again.
