Gary was great to work with and the property was quite nice. Gary was accommodating in so many ways and we appreciated him much!My one feedback would be the lack of supplies in the kitchen. The property lists for 8, but there were only 4 forks in the kitchen. This was consistent with other dishes and utensils. There was also a lack of dishcloths, which made clean up hard. Otherwise it was a wonderful property!

The house has a very strong fragrance from oil diffusers placed in nearly every room, including the closets. If you're sensitive to perfumes or artificial scents, be aware that the smell is quite overwhelming and gave me a headache.While we were there, the owner came to the property while we were away and had an exterminator treat the home while our belongings were still inside. He did let us know that morning that this would be happening, but it still felt uncomfortable. We weren't given a choice, as we were told it needed to be done because of a bug issue. To his credit, the owner was kind in his communication and left us 60 toward a meal, which was a kind gesture.The listing also mentions that a gardener comes every other Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and says you "might" hear them. Unfortunately, I either missed or forgot that detail when I booked several months in advance.It was alarming to wake up early Saturday morning to someone opening the side gate immediately outside the master bedroom. Shortly afterward, the leaf blowers started directly outside our open windows, followed by very loud gas-powered trimmers and lawn mowing. The work lasted about 45 minutes and filled the entire house with noise. It was anything but peaceful, and there was no "might" about hearing the gardeners. If part of your vacation includes sleeping in on a Saturday, enjoying privacy, or expecting a quiet retreat, this property may not be the best fit.
