Lovely house needs a little more love!

Lovely big house, well furnished and well equipped. Loads of TVs! Nice big walk-in showers. 2 lounge areas, so a larger group could have had separate activities in different spaces. Plenty of storage space. Having off street parking was good. Location great - nice residential street with short walk to supermarket and not far to town centre.

The cleaners had done their best with a big space and short turnaround time, and it was clean enough in every important way. However there were some issues e.g. toast crumbs under the toaster; fingerprints and spills on main TV screen; mystery stains in various locations; and an unpleasant odour on the way into the master bedroom. Garden seating area full of large weeds and cigarette butts (but it doesn't get the evening sun anyway.) Felt overall the house could use a little TLC. It was clear that it's mostly used by larger groups of adults for parties etc., for which it would be ideal.

A peaceful and spacious getaway that had everything we needed.

This was an exceptional stay! The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a lovely garden and set in a peaceful neighbourhood. It was the perfect setting for what we needed, relaxing, comfortable, and hassle-free.

The only small downside was that the garden light wasn’t working, so we couldn’t make use of the outdoor space in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay overall and had a great time.

Lovely house and gardens and plenty of room for 6 of us. Beds comfortable. Wifi was very good. Linen bedding and towels provided were great. Plenty of room for dinning and sitting in lounge for large group. Good position. Close to Newark town, restaurants, shops and market and tourist attractions. Great off road parking available for 2 cars.

We would have liked a salad bowl and a few more serving bowls, serving spoons and we would have liked a teapot and a tray. Otherwise very good facilities in the kitchen. Two persons in the group struggled with the steep stairs as the bannister on the right disappears near to top of the stairs, a hand rail on the left would assist and fix problem. A hand rail in shower would help older people too. The plug is missing in main bathroom sink. The door lock was also broken. A shower gel holder in showers would have been appreciated.
