Bright and Well-Kept 3-Bed Property! Free Parking

Comfortable bright house. Good facilities in modernised kitchen. Good central location Adequate shower/ toilet facilities in modern bathrooms.

House was not really clean enough. Lots of cobwebs and dust. ( this particularly grated as charged £100 for cleaning as part of hire charge) Only seating in lounge for 4 adults but house is for 5 people. No cleaning products left so had to buy kitchen spray/ toilet cleaner/ J cloths and extra toilet rolls. Parking was free but couldn't ever get outside the house, usually parked further up in a side street. Shower needs to be re-siliconed. House info.on line. Would have liked paper printed copies and some local tourist information too. Bedrooms were a good size, some creaky and soft floorboards and squeaky doors - but to be expected given the age of the house.

It was clean and nicely laid out. We felt very comfortable. Parking could be an issue but we asked the neighbours where they felt best we should park and came to an amicable agreement. Both the neighbourhood and the people were nice. It’s a 10 minute walk to the town centre and we felt safe as we walked around late at night. People chatted and so we enjoyed staying where we did. Kitchen facilities were good and we appreciated having both an upstairs and downstairs toilet. Would be happy to stay again.

The 2 single beds in one of the rooms were the small 2ft 6 inch width. Would have preferred a wider bed but they were still comfy. The room they were in was a good size and I just think that the larger size single bed would be better as came close to rolling out a few times. Otherwise it was all rather nice.

Lovely little house, warm and cosy with comfy beds and living space. Great base to explore from. Parking easy but tight spaces if you have a large vehicle. Great base to go off and explore - and the heating was super efficient so very nice to come back to on cold January days. Would stay again. It’s a cosy place.

The shower needs repair as the head won’t stay in the up position - also controls are in reverse so first morning could not get it to run hot water. Property owner alerted and action was taken quickly to remedy the lack of hot water but shower needs attention as it leaked onto the floor from Somewhere underneath making it really slippy. Not enough towels. Main bin outside was overflowing with rubbish when we put ours out as directed - it had not been emptied for some time. And it definitely needs a doormat as others have said - plenty of space just inside the front door for this when you’re coming in with wet shoes.

Good location, quiet street, enough parking.

A passable venue, but wouldn’t return! On entry you’re greeted to an oil smell which lingers in the whole house, every time you enter the house you can smell cooking oil. Creaky and broken floorboards, uncomfortable and poor quality bed mattresses, a grubby downstairs shower, a broken shelf in the fridge so 4 bottles of our beer broke the seals on the lids when we opened the fridge as they dropped to the floor. And finally only one toilet roll in each toilet for a four day stay with two kids and two adults.
