Simple, Clean, and Super Friendly Staff

A simple but very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly staff/owner. When I asked where I could charge my car nearby, they didn’t know right away, but they offered to let me charge it using an extension cord they had. That worked well for me since I had booked two nights. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, which made it really easy to get into Cologne. The room was basic, but absolutely clean. If I have to think of any downside then this was that the curtain was slightly loose at the top on one side making it a bit difficult to fully cover the window. I would definitely stay here again whenever I need to be in Cologne.

Great location close to the train and bus station. Free parking. Kettle and coffee machine in the room. Shared kitchen had everything you need including air fryer, coffee maker, microwave, hob, fridges

It's not really an apartment, just an ensuite room with a kettle, coffee maker and fridge. The WiFi wasn't great.

Beautiful characterful place. Spacious room. Common kitchen with everything in it.

Very nice building. Big kitchen with everything you need. Youth hostel style but much better equipped. Good beds. The room we had was very good orientated, meaning with windows to the back of the villa. Parking on site available. Nice common salon on the 1st floor.

Although the overall feeling was really great, the room is advertised as an apartment with kitchen. The kitchen is common and very good equipped. I would say that whenever you advertise an apartment, you would expect more than just a bed and bathroom. I would call this a room instead of an apartment.

Great location..lovely old house..

Great location, close to town centre and bus/train stations. Room 24 was spacious and bed comfy. Bathroom clean with good shower.Well equipped shared kitchen.

Didn't meet any of the staff! We arrived in the evening..a man in Rm 16 ???staff, showed us our room. Didn't see anyone at reception the next day...or the next when we left ...a bit strange...

Gemütliche und preiswerte Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit großer Gemeinschaftsküche.

Die Villa hat sehr viel Charme und wird mit Liebe geführt. Wir waren dort nur für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp und dafür ist es auf jeden Fall ideal, da man nur ca. 5min bis zur A3 braucht und zur Fußgängerzone vielleicht 10min zu Fuß.

Gardinen waren nicht komplett befestigt, Polyesterbettwäsche, Preise stimmen nicht mit der Größe der Getränkeliste überein (0,33 l statt 0,5l), (haben nichts genutzt!)

Très calme mais manque un contact avec le personnel

Ne jamais avoir de personnel durant les 4 jours. Le premier jour nous sommes arrivés personne sur place les codes reçu sur booking n'était pas bon donc on se retrouve bloqué j'ai du faire appeler quelqu'un qui parle allemand pour avoir le bon code alors que si quelqu'un aurait ete sur place ca aurait ete plus rassurant

Größe des Zimmers, bequemes Bett. Sehr gutes, spanisches Lokal in der Nähe. Fairer Preis.

Kein Personal anzutreffen. Check-in per Code. Haus sehr groß und etwas creepy, wenn man so alleine dort ist. Ein Vorhang im Zimmer war lose und man konnte deshalb nicht komplett abdunkeln. Sehr dünne Decken. Eine Senseo im Zimmer, aber keine Kaffeepads. Nicht so sauber. Komischer Geruch im Haus (vll von Gemeinschaftsküche?) Direkt an viel befahrener Straße.

Eine gut ausgestattete, bodenständige und dabei äußerst herzliche Unterkunft.

Das Zimmer war schön, liebevoll mit Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und Snacks ausgestattet. Die Bilder waren ansprechend. Es gab zusätzlich eine sehr gut eingerichtete und einladende Gemeinschaftsküche. Insgesamt hatte die Villa eine bodenständige und dabei äußerst herzliche Ausstrahlung.

wir waren zu besuch bei der verwandschaft und waren nur zum schlafen in der unterkunft.

die lage war gut,man war schnell zu fuss im centrum.dort hat man reichlich auswahl an frühstückslokalitäten.

leider waren die fensterstors an einem fenster ausgehangen,dort fehlten die stopper.ansonsten kann ich die unterkunft bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Freiheit mit Stil

Das Ambiente ist toll. Der Name sagt alles. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist überwältigend einladend. Die Restaurants vor Ort werden nicht gebraucht wenn man seinen Urlaub für "cooking in style" nutzen möchte. Wer eine individuelle zwanglose Unterkunft sucht ist hier genau richtig. Köln ist leicht und schnell zu erreichen. Ein Spaziergang in der Natur an der Wupper gleich um die Ecke.

Man sollte sich seine Bestätigungs Mail die separat vom Haus kommt, zusätzlich zur Mail vom Buchungsportal, genau angucken. Es gibt "self check in" was super ist, wenn man es vorher weiß. Ich habe nur gebucht und gedacht dann zeige ich die Booking.com Bestätigung vor, fertig. Dem ist nicht so.

Die Tassen im Zimmer waren nicht sauber - unten in der Küche gab es aber bessere.

Tolles Ambiente in alter Villa verbunden mit einem komfortablen Zimmer

Schöne Atmosphäre in der alten Villa, die zentral in Opladen liegt. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, das Bett super bequem. Über einen Code kommt man abends ins Haus und auch ins Zimmer. Die Preise der Angebote im Kühlschrank sind sehr günstig. Man kann auch Kaffee oder Tee zubereiten. Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden.

Tout ! Totale liberté, calme (excellente isolation avec l'extérieur), intimité préservée, salons d'accueil très confortables, cuisine/salle à manger commune bien équipée, plateau de courtoisie dans la chambre et petit refrigerateur...

Une cafetière électrique avec filtre serait appréciable. Mais ce n'est pas rédhibitoire.
