The room itself was fine. Comfortable and clean.
The staff is obviously challenged to do too many jobs. Upon arrival, the gentleman at the desk waiting to check in told me that he had been waiting for 15 minutes with no luck… That no one had come. I got worried that the clerk was injured or tied up in the back room and called the number. Then she came and checked him in and then checked me in. She was very nice. She just needs more employees. I don’t think that the desk should be unattended for 20 minutes at a time.

Our bed was very low because we booked handicapped access but didn’t think the bed would be that low.

The property was very clean and close to many restaurants. It is also very secure.
I requested and confirmed a king size bed with handicapped access to the bathroom. The person who checked me in saw that I was ambulatory. I was having respiratory difficulties as well. When I got to my room, it seemed the Queen sized bed was MISSING A MATTRESS! The bed was practically on the floor! I was too short of breath to go back downstairs to complain and request a different room.
I had trouble getting out of bed the following morning since I have had many orthopedic surgeries and it exacerbated my troubles with my breathing.
On check out, I complained to the clerk. I was told all “handicapped/ disability rooms were like this. So if you have orthopedic issues or mobility issues, request a regular room.
