La maison du bonheur entre Bordeaux et Océan

We had an exceptional stay at this house in Bordeaux during a 2 week work trip. The house was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 8 coworkers for the entire stay without feeling crowded. Everything was well maintained, comfortable, and perfectly suited for both relaxing and working. It was also very thoughtful that the house was stocked with basic necessities upon our arrival. Sophie en Selim were outstanding and always responded very quickly whenever we had questions or needed assistance, which made the stay even smoother. They even brought over a barbecue grill on their own initiative after learning that we were planning a BBQ evening, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend this property for larger groups, especially for extended stays or work trips.

The only minor downside was that the central heating could only be controlled through the host’s app rather than directly in the house. Being able to adjust it ourselves would have made the stay absolutely perfect.

La maison du bonheur porte bien son nom : on s y sent tout de suite à l aise, comme à la maison. L espace et la disposition des pièces est top ! L extérieur permet également de très bons moments en famille. Nous recommandons chaudement cette bonne adresse. Merci Sophie

Le logement était super ! grand et bien équipé. Le nombre de chambres et de salle de bain était suffisant pour le nombre de personne que nous étions (6 adultes, 1 enfant). Sophie répond rapidement à nos questions et nos besoins.

Le logement était un peu bruyant, l'une des chambres avait une porte bruyante à l'ouverture ce qui a réveillé les autres invités. La ventilation était bruyante, ce qui a empéché de bien dormir dans la chambre du bas la première nuit.

Good location for visits. Nice pool.

Refrigerator too far from the kitchen. Freezer area full of owners food so no frozen food storage available.No iron or ironing board. No kitchen wall cupboards for ease of access to cooking ingredients. No draining tray for general dish/pan washing. A good looking but impracticable kitchen for a keen cook.
