Clovelly Green Cottage

Booking.com rates this property as Exceptional, but I would go one step further – it is simply perfect. Perfectly clean, exceptionally comfortable, wonderfully quiet, and completely private. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and everything was beautifully organised. As a solo traveller, I felt completely safe throughout my five-night stay. I came here to rest and enjoy some peace and quiet, and this beautiful place gave me exactly that. It was the perfect setting to relax and recharge. I'm already recommending this incredible property to my friends. Thank you for the lovely welcome gifts – they were a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.

Hmmm, rather strong "country smell" on a few days, so much so, that I couldn't keep the windows open...

Very clean and tidy, had all we could need for our few days. Great location for Clovelly, a 30 minute walk away, and good for buses on the A39.

This cottage is a little gem of a place, we wanted a property near Clovelly village, it's only a mile away so we went with this one, so glad we did. It had everything we needed, lovely comfortable bed, great ensuite, excellent kitchen area, great tv, and a comfy sofa. The owners Stuart & Carole bought us some milk, bread and butter which was very much appreciated, thank you both for that. We totally loved this place and would recommend it to everyone.
