Almond Cottage

What a quaint and charming cottage. Private parking available inside the property. Cottage feels blissful and we did not want to venture out & about for too long. Luxurious, laidback and homey. Outdoor area with private braai. During Summer season the private pool would be fabulous. Yes, there’s even a private pool. We visited in Winter & the fireplace inside adds to the cosy feel. Almond cottage should definitely be on your must stay list, do not look further for an amazing haven, whenever you have the Riebeeck Valley on your travelling itinerary. The cottage is fully equipped, has amazing features. A bathroom to rival a Garden & Home-House & Leisure special feature. Deck chairs outside for leisure reading. Relaxing atmosphere with comfortable silence & charming bird song providing pure soul food. The hostess, Ina is a true gem and her genuine friendliness and heartfelt welcome, felt like meeting an old friend. She has carefully prepared the cottage, it even has an egg cooker. I would say her genuine hospitality and friendly nature will for sure be welcoming guests again and again.

Hygiëne, het zwembad, ruimte buiten, prima badkamer, fijne attente gastvrouw.

Everything about Almond Cottage is a sheer delight. Facilities were second to none with lovely linen and products. The jewel in the crown is quite possibly the garden and pool area which was private for our use. We wish we had stayed longer so that we could have a braai. Sitting having breakfast at the garden table watching the birds and hearing the almonds falling off the tree, was something very special.

Absolutely nothing, other than we had to leave!
