Elegant Queen Room at Botany - Nearby Airport - Shared Bathroom

The Queen bedroom we had was quite spacious, comfortable and quiet. Nice, easy street parking and great location.

The shared bathroom could be problematic if the whole place was fully booked. There is only 1 toilet which is located in the bath/shower room (that is, not separated). Given the potential maximum number of guests you might find yorself queuing for the toilet.

The room was nice, clean and secure. The other guests were quiet and friendly.

The bathroom was revolting. We didn't realise until we got there that we were sharing one toilet and shower with 6 other rooms (so potentially like 10-12 people). The toilet is in with the shower, so if you're busting you're screwed until whoever is in the shower is finished. And you better hope someone else doesn't get in before you. The floor of the shower is covered in mold and residue. There's an ancient bottle of body wash there that's covered in mold and dead bugs. A 'cleaner' came, spent majority of the time she was there sitting on her phone. When she left the bathroom was practically exactly the same as before she came. No bleaching/ deep cleaning which is really gross considering how many people share it. The stovetop was greasy and covered in food, she didn't clean it at all. While the bedroom was really nice and secure, my sister and I had to wear shoes in the shower because it was so gross. And there was more than one occasion that we were busting for the toilet and no access to one. 6 double rooms and one toilet/ shower? I'll be camping next time, at least at a holiday park there's showers blocks and toilet blocks that are cleaned regularly. I'll sacrifice the bed gladly.
