Sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber/in. Wir sind recht spät nach einer ausgiebigen Anfahrt mit Tagestouren angekommen und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Süßigkeiten in der Küche haben das Ankommen zusätzlich versüßt. :) Am nächsten Morgen wurde uns sehr freundlich Kuchen und Saft gebracht. Wie überwiegend auf unserer gesamten Albanientour waren wir hier auch nur für eine Nacht, somit auch nur der Eindruck eines Kurzaufenthaltes, was sich somit auf die reine Übernachtung beschränkt. Die Wohnung ist sauber und bietet den angekündigten Raum. Unsererseits kann man sich sicher den positiven Bewertungen anschließen, welche die Wohnung ein paar mehr Tage ausgekostet haben. Die gute Lage bietet beste Voraussetzungen, damit man auch was von der Stadt hat, was ja der Hauptreisegrund meistens ist. Dann ist man eigentlich nur noch vom Wetter abhängig. Da sich die Wohnung etwas abseits der Hauptstraße in einem Wohngebiet befindet (was ich sehr reizvoll finde), sollte man für die Anfahrt nicht stumpf der GoogleMaps Navigation folgen. Weil dann wird es mit einem größeren Auto schon herausfordernd. Mit einem selbstbestimmten aufmerksamen Blick auf die Straßenführung ist das Problem behoben und keines mehr. ;)

Host, their hospitality and the property was spotless.

The access was a bit tricky. However, when I spoke to the host, her son guided us nicely.

The host who greeted me was a thoroughly nice person. She had prepared a plate of fruit for me and was careful not to use fragrances everywhere, as I had requested. She only wrote in Albanian, but she was always pleasant to interact with. She also called me a taxi, which was cheaper than getting one myself. Everything in the apartment was good quality, the apt itself is spacious and had anything and everything you could need including a full kitchen and washer. The AC was in the bedroom, which I almost didn't need in Sept, and there is a balcony outside. Really nice apartment , and for all of this it's not expensive at all.

We had a conflict about payment that I really wanted to resolve peacefully and not even mention, but in the end of the day the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It was a combination of critical thinking and communication issues, plus a low level of professionalism on the part of the son who manages this apartment remotely and who interacted with me on booking and by phone. It's a shame because the apartment itself really is lovely! The management side isn't quite ready for handling complications. But hopefully one day they will be!

Viešnagė buvo puiki. Be to, kad lokacija labai patogi aplankyti pagrindines tris Berato vietas (tiltą, senamiestį, pilį), kad yra labai erdvu, kad yra visko, ko reikia (parkavimo vieta, skalbimo mašina, balkonas, virtuvė, galima net užlipti ant stogo), mane nustebino keli dalykai: - atvykus šeimininkai jau laukė prie vartų, nors net nebuvau įspėjęs apie tikslų atvykimo laiką, - šaldytuve buvo palikta vandens ir vaisių (siule net rakės, tik neturejau laiko :)), - išvykimo rytą net atnešė pusryčius.
