In winter, it is preferable to park at the top of the slope or to be equipped with a 4 wheel drive to park near the cottage.
We are not responsible for weather conditions or vehicles that get stuck in the snow. There is accessible parking at the top, next to the recycling bins.

I would not recommend this property in the winter months due to the dangerous road conditions and the property managers complete lack of concern for guest safety. Also Marc's biggest concern was noise level at night, he should be more concerned about the safety of his renters. My 2 stars for accuracy is for the distance needed to walk from the landing at the top of the driveway to the house. The property is beautiful but not worth the danger you face to get there in winter. The access to the property in the winter is icy, with hills and slopes and just not worth the risk. The only warning given was a brief note about needing a 4x4, but no mention of just how unsafe the road getting to the cottage and slope of the driveway could be. When I raised my concerns, the host was dismissive and took no responsibility, showing no compassion for the well-being of their guests.Also he tells you to park at the top of the driveway, if you are unloading your car you would need to walk down the sloped driveway to get to the front door. If you are considering this rental, be aware that accessing the property can be hazardous, and you will receive no support from the host if you run into trouble. I strongly advise future renters to think twice before booking this in the winter.
