About this house rental
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located, newly built place. Located in a walkable neighborhood with restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store, parks, and the waterfront nearby. The Link light rail station with access to 3 major hospitals, the Tacoma Dome, and the Tacoma convention center is a 5 minute walk. Convenient jumping off point for your PNW adventures to Seattle, Mt Rainier, and the Olympic National Park.
Newly built basement suite in a historic 1910 Craftsman Four Square style home. The basement suite is close to 1000 square feet with a large, open kitchen and living area. The bathroom is a 3/4 bath with a full washer/dryer. The bedroom has 1 queen bed. The space is perfect for 2 adults or a family of up to 4. As a family ourselves we have all the baby/toddler gear and are happy to provide you with anything you might need on your travels. Please keep in mind this suite is in the basement of our family home. You will hear noise from our home above. We try to be considerate of our guests but you will hear sounds of normal living - footsteps, cabinet doors, etc. This has not been a problem for the vast majority of our guests, but if you feel you are highly sensitive to noise it could be bothersome for you.

I wanted to share my positive feedback regarding my recent stay. The place was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and it exceeded my expectations. I especially loved the thoughtful extras like the Welcome Book, games, travel information, books, and earplugs – they were a really nice touch. I would definitely stay here again when I travel to Tacoma.

We loved our stay in this suite. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Our hostess was super accommodating, and the location couldn't have been more perfect for what we wanted to do in Washington. We would definitely stay here again.

A perfect location. I stayed with my two young sons on a train trip up from portland. We rode the light rail, busses, amtrack and a boat... Visited the museum of glass, children's museum, and the zoo. Shake, Shake, Shake was a great place for a bite or dessert if you have kids.

Beautiful basement unit in lovely neighborhood. Tasteful decor and beautiful modern kitchen and bathroom. Very well outfitted and we didn t lack for anything. Katie was a responsive host and we highly recommend this gorgeous listing.
