About this apartment rental
The region of La Baja Limia. It covers a wide territory that corresponds to the highest areas of the Councils of Entrimo, Lobios and Muíños, bordering Portugal and the Portuguese National Park of Peneda-Gerês. As a whole, it is a succession of ridges and valleys of short length and steep slopes in which the town of Requiás stands out. The vegetation of the Park includes both Atlantic and Mediterranean species. There are abundant oak groves, which are accompanied below 1000 meters by birch trees and at higher altitudes by Scots pine and yew. There are also chestnut trees, holly, cork oaks, strawberry trees and in the shrub stratum, heather and broom. There are also enclaves with reforestations, mainly of Pinus pinaster. The riparian forests around the watercourses are mainly made up of ash, alder, poplar, willow and hazelnut trees. Among the existing fauna we can mention the birds of prey in open fields, such as the common kestrel and the buzzard or the Montagu's harrier.
