The Herrensee lies right in the heart of the city. Almost completely surrounded by water, so to speak, Waren an der Müritz has blossomed into a beautiful town over the past 20 years. Unlike in many towns in Mecklenburg, the old town is very well-preserved and has been beautifully restored.
The harbor in Waren an der Müritz is a successful project. Looking at the many pleasure boats and passenger ships, it’s impossible not to feel a touch of the Mediterranean.
Waren—swimming, hiking, boating—nowhere is it more beautiful than in Waren. This slogan from the 1920s is as relevant today as ever.
