A large, open cobblestone area lined with towering palms characterizes the space that makes up the San Jose del Cabo Main Square. On the west side of the square lies Iglesia San José (Saint Joseph Church), in addition to a bandstand, outdoor amphitheater, towering palms, and the Palacio Municipal (city hall). On the outskirts of the square and along the surrounding streets you will find restaurants, art galleries, jewelry stores, and shops. A variety of cultural events frequently take place on the square’s bandstand and outdoor amphitheater, making this an entertainment spot to keep on the radar.
Walking to town center and beaches nearby. UBER is cheap and convenient. Or rent a car (we like Cactus Car Rental).
