Wake up on the Sunrise Side! Carpe Diem 365 is a lakefront condo just steps away from the sugar sand beaches of Lake Huron. Huron Sands Condominiums have over 800 square feet of private beachfront that guests are welcome to use. The condo offers gorgeous lake views from the living room and dining area, en suite bathroom, customizable Sleep Number bed, A/C, Roku TV, and WIFI! This location is great for a small family with kids, a retreat for 2 couples, or a romantic getaway for a couple!
NEIGHBORHOOD:
This condo is part of Huron Sands Condominiums; which are situated just south of downtown Oscoda and directly next to Au Sable Shoreline Park, at the mouth of the Au Sable River. There are 10 condo buildings in the community that share the private sandy beach on Lake Huron, which guests are welcome to use. There are also community outdoor dining tables, bonfire rings, and outdoor chairs that guests can utilize.
The condo is situated in the middle building located on the second floor. Many of the condos are summer homes for retirees. Since the condo is part of an association, guests are asked to be relatively quiet and to not disturb the residents of the other condos.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1) ACCESSIBILITY: The condo is on the second floor and does require climbing an exterior flight of stairs.
2) PET POLICY: Pets are strictly prohibited at this property.
3) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.
4) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.
5) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

Love the house though it appeared to be outdated with minor repairs needed, the view, access to the private beach and super kind neighbors was amazing! The community is majority seniors so if you’re looking for serenity it was great for that if you’re looking for beach parties not so much. We loved the community so much we plan to come back multiple times next year.

The condo was nice and clean, the sunrise view was amazing, we loved having two bedrooms and two bathrooms, there was plenty of towels and bedding and the other condo owners onsite were very friendly and welcoming. The downsides were that it was very hot outside, and the two bedrooms were quite warm as the A/C is only in the front of the condo, we loved the private beach, but it was a bit too far to lug beach things with two young kids in the heat, there is nowhere to hang wet towels/suits to dry after a day at the beach, we had to empty buckets of water from the A/C unit, so it didn't drip down onto the condo below. I might stay again if it's only two of us, but it's just not ideal with kids.
