The property is lovely, right on the river. The living room was spacious and comfortable. We spent quite a bit of time playing games, which was lots of fun. The sleeping arrangements were unexpected, with 6 mixed adults all sharing one room and 2 couples sharing another, but we made due for the week. Having the only bathrooms in the 2-main bedrooms made it a bit awkward for some, but again, we got through the week. We were comfortable enough, but would have appreciated more sleeping and bathing areas.

We chose this house for the sole purpose of access to the Guadalupe River however the house itself was so cute! It was spacious and clean! Our host Megan was very responsive and friendly! She had all the necessary equipment for the river to include inflatables, kayaks, and standup boards. Great house I recommend for a family or just a girls trip!

The view from the living room to the river gave us a sense of calmness and tranquility...peaceful place. If you love nature, you found the perfect place. Don't forget to hug the big tree by the deck. Texas needed rain but we got more than we bargained for which made the Guadalupe inaccessible for floating and fun. Unfortunately this was why we booked our trip. Nothing the property managers could help. The house is definitely too small for two families of 5. Although there are enough places for people to sleep, the living space and kitchen are very crowded to accommodate larger families. The propane was empty so we had to go fill it up, but the owners were quick in responding and giving us money to cover that. It is an older house with no central heat/air. The outdoor amenities/things for kids to do were great.
